“I sent out hundreds of applications…” So began another day listening to a previously happy person who was no longer happy due to job searching.

Job searching leads to so many emotions that plague us: uncertainty, fear of rejection, confusion, lack of self-esteem, frustration and so forth.

Can Career Counseling Connecticut help?

Yes.

Why?

In running Career Counseling Connecticut for the last 17 years, I’ve come to understand that most everyone is not naturally good at job searching.  And why would they be?  There is no training.  There is no accountability.  There is no clear cut process.

What else do you do in life that is similar?

For any other skill, we are trained; usually have accountability; and usually can follow a clear cut process.

Working with Career Counseling Connecticut seems to provide all three.

But there is one more huge issue: emotional coaching.

Job searching is miserable for all the aforementioned reasons.  The toll is emotionally taxing, particularly because the job seeker is all alone.

Here, I suppose my “Uncle Daryl” work has been among the most impactful.  Moreover, when a job seeker feels good, they almost always get more done.

So… if you want to get a job quicker and be happier going go…. let me know.
