I was recently giving a speech to young career seekers. In relation to what I know was their anxiety, I discussed embracing intensity. I suggested looking at the eyes of some older people. Their life force has depleted. Why? Stagnation.
“Same old, same old.” I hear that phrase from too many people my age.
When I meet with my fellow “seasoned” adults for career counseling sessions, some will have the sadness of realizing that life is passing them by as the old saying goes. It need not be!
Some of the happiest and most vibrant people I know in their 40s and 50s have found a second wind due to their new career.
