Law firm partners are rarely fonts of wisdom. It’s more common as it is here that they are quoted as examples of how not to live. At the last firm I worked, the partner would say, “Time to return to the salt mine” on the rare occasions where we were having human conversations.
Do you feel that way as you look at your post-vacation return to work week?
I get it. Before I started Career Counseling Connecticut, I had the Sunday scaries – as my now adult son tells me they are called – quite often.
When I found work I liked – and sometimes love – I embraced a new phrase (not coined by me) “time to return to the studio,” which a wise commentator used when discussing enjoyable work in a broader sense than an artist would.
If you are not enjoying your work… and feel the Sunday scaries…Career Counseling Connecticut can help.
