Do something. Anything at all. As Nike says, “just do it”.
A majority of people that are unhappy with their career do nothing. This is no way to live your life.
“I should have done this a long time ago” is what I hear often after an initial career counseling session. Part of the success of our meeting was do to something besides my advice. The client took action. By reaching out to me, signing up for a meeting, completing my career test/survey, and carefully considering what to say and ask me, the client has already taking significant steps to help solve some of their career struggles. My advising aside, this process itself is already a great start to head in the right direction.
So, just do something. Your ultimate career change is up to you, not me.
