Most of Career Counseling Connecticut’s clientele are twentysomethings gaining traction in the work world. This makes sense. Most (1) do not know what they want to do when they “grow up,” (2) do not know the work world well enough to make informed decisions, and (3) are deficient in one or more areas of job search execution. They are making decisions on affirmative change
Forty and fifty-somethings usually come to Career Counseling Connecticut from a reactive perspective. A layoff, rumors of a layoff, burnout… and the more reflective… “I want to do something I care about.”
My work here has been among the most rewarding of my career counseling days.
