Those who graduated college in 2020 had it the worst. My son was among those graduates. While fortunately things turned out well for him… eventually…he struggled for several months and, my wife and I struggled knowing that there was not much we could do to help. And, yes, even as a professional career counselor running the largest career counseling company in Connecticut, there was not much that I could do in May 2020 as companies were shedding jobs and not hiring anyone.

Nonetheless, I did guide him through Career Counseling Connecticut’s job finding process which proved – again – to be superior to the standard application process of the Indeed Black Hole. Then again, most anything will beat what seems to be the default option of recent grads: look on job boards – such as Indeed – and apply for the job, along with several hundred similarly situated others.

Career Counseling Connecticut can help.
